Process to become a member of Berea #2282

We are a Members Only Fraternal Organization.

The below steps are mandatory for your inclusion into our order.

1) Fill out an application fully with two (2) proposers who must be a current Aerie or Auxiliary member (of any aerie) in good standing. (New, Dual and Re-enrollees)

**NOTE** Aerie members can only propose Aerie candidates, Auxiliary members can only propose Auxiliary candidates

2) Application will be forwarded to our Interview Committee to get a chance to learn more about you during either an in-person or over the phone interview.

3) Application will be voted upon at the next regularly scheduled meeting. (at least one of your proposers MUST attend this meeting).

4) If your application for membership is approved, you will be contacted to schedule your initiation.

     **NOTE** If your application for membership is not approved, you will be notified in writing.

5) Attend your scheduled initiation, be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early and report to the bartender that you are there for initiation and sign in on the guest registry.  If you have not already paid your required dues, and initiation fee it will be required prior to your initiation. Accepted methods of payment are check or cash.

6) Upon successful completion of initiation, your official membership receipt and key fob will be provided to you. (Membership receipt must be on your person at all times will in the Aerie home)
